June 25, 2001 Magellan Closes Contract to Provide ASO Services to Wayne County Mental Health Agency The Detroit-Wayne County Community Mental Health Agency (DWCCMHA) recently awarded an administrative services contract to Magellan Behavioral Health Inc. to provide administrative support services for management of county-funded mental health services. DWCCMHA will pay Magellan $20 million over the next four years to support its operations in the areas of prior authorization, utilization management, care coordination and claims administration.
