New York Medicaid Delays Implementation Of Behavioral Health Managed Care Plans
The New York Medicaid program schedule for launching enrollment in integrated physical and behavioral health managed care plans for adults and children has been delayed because the details have not yet been approved by the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The state anticipated approval of its behavioral health 1115 Medicaid waiver amendment in March 2015 for the special terms and conditions and approval in May 2015 of the final managed care capitation rates.
