HIE – Essential For Integrated Care Coordination & Population Health Management
Can we ever get health information exchange (HIE) to work? The answer to that question is of paramount importance to integrated care management delivery because without it, both care coordination in general, and participation in accountable care organizations (ACOs) is severely limited.
Unfortunately, functional HIE is not common.
