July 3, 2006 Jackson Healthcare Staffing Acquires World Health Alternatives for $53 Million, Spins-Off Medtech Staffing Division On April 28, 2006, Jackson Healthcare Staffing purchased a majority of the assets of bankrupt World Health Alternatives, Inc. (WHA), for $53 million, and in late May 2006, sold the WHA Medtech staffing division for less than $1 million to Capital Healthcare Solutions, Inc.
