El Paso County, Texas To Implement Pre-Trial Services Office To Identify Offenders With Mental Health Needs

On May 4, 2015, the El Paso County, Texas Commissioners Court approved a measure to implement a pre-trial services office to help identify offenders needing mental health services. The county will create the Office of Criminal Justice Coordination and is planning to hire a criminal justice director to lead the office. The office will function as the El Paso County personal bond office effective October 1, 2015.
