July 16, 2007 Madison Center Opens New Psychiatric Care Facility for Seniors On July 9, 2007 Madison Center, in South Bend, Indiana, opened a senior psychiatric care facility called GeroPsych Institute. The facility includes 40 acute care psychiatric beds as wells as a 14- bed long-term nursing care unit.
