July 24, 2006 Computer-Based System May Be Able to Detect Neurodevelopmental DisordersResearchers at the University of Aberdeen are developing a computer-based system that can measure children's movements and reactions in order to determine if neurodevelopmental disorders can be diagnosed or ruled out quickly. The system involves taking computer-based measurements and tracking children's movement and reactions to certain stimuli. About 60 children have been involved in a trial.
