August 7, 2006 Harvard Medical School Affiliate Opens Substance Abuse Treatment Center McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, has opened The McLean Center at Fernside, a residential treatment program targeted to individuals with substance use disorders complicated by psychiatric conditions. The Center, a new offering in McLean Hospital's Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Program, can accommodate up to ten patients, with an average stay per patient of 30 days or longer.
