August 7, 2006 Earl Copus to Retire From Melwood On August 1, 2006, Earl Copus, chief executive of Melwood, announced his intention to retire by early 2007. Melwood is a rehabilitation program that provides job training and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. MelwoodÂ’s board of directors has formed a search committee to find a successor.
