August 12, 2002 Grant Hospital Sale Opening To All Bidders The possibility to acquire Grant Hospital in Chicago will no longer be limited to just health-care companies. An auction for the hospital has been scheduled for August 19 that will open the sale of the health care facility to bids from real estate developers, according to the Chicago Tribune. Previous offers from parties interested in keeping the hospital as a health-care facility have not been sufficient to cover the debts incurred by the hospital, therefore, creditors recently convinced a Cook County Circuit Court judge to allow real estate . . .
