August 25, 2003 Satisfaction in the Hospital Industry Higher Than Other Service Industries When compared with customer satisfaction scores across service industries , the proportion of highly satisfied customers in the hospital industry is the highest. This finding is according to J.D. Power and Associates' 2003 National Hospital Service Performance Study released on June 18, 2003.
