Catholic Charities Awarded Senior Employment Grant

August 28, 2006 Catholic Charities Awarded Senior Employment Grant Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph has received a one-year $428,033 grant from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) to facilitate a senior employment program in the Kansas City area. Catholic Charities will use the money to finance 83% of a program called "Seniors@Work." The remaining 17% of the program's financing comes from in-kind and private donations.
