September 3, 2001 North Carolina's Pitt County Mental Health Association Declines United Way Funding for 2001 The Pitt County Mental Health Association in North Carolina announced in August 2001 that it has declined funding from the United Way of Pitt County for the current allocation period, due to a dispute over funding distributions.
