September 24, 2001 AHA: About 25 Percent of Hospitals Provide Sleep Centers and Tobacco Treatment Programs About 27 percent of America's hospitals provide sleep centers, and nearly 25 percent run tobacco treatment/cessation programs. This was the preliminary data gathered by the American Hospital Association (AHA) as part of its latest annual survey of hospitals.
