September 24, 2001 Lower Level Hospital Executives Experience Higher Salary Growth Rate than CEOs Pay packages for hospital executives below the chief executive officer (CEO) level increased at a higher rate than those of CEOs, according to a recent survey. The survey is called, 2001 Hospital Compensation Report, and it was conducted and published by the Hay Group in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Hay Group found that CEO compensation did continue to rise, just not as much as it did for other executives.
