CVS/pharmacy Completes Acquisition of MinuteClinic

October 9, 2006 CVS/pharmacy Completes Acquisition of MinuteClinic CVS/pharmacy announced on September 20, 2006, that it has completed its acquisition of Minneapolis-based MinuteClinic. MinuteClinic will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of CVS Corporation. There are currently 91 MinuteClinics in 12 states, 73 of which are within CVS/pharmacy locations. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. MinuteClinic is the largest provider of retail-based health clinics in the United States. Since it began operations in May 2000, the company has handled more than 550,000 patient visits and has received a 99% customer satisfaction . . .
