November 14, 2005 Wisconsin Health Care Industry Expected to Grow 30% in Ten Years Health care jobs in Wisconsin are expected to grow 30.3% over the next ten years. There will be more than 10,000 new and replacement jobs added each year. The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) also reported that the need for long-term care health care workers will increase. It is estimated that one-third of health care workers will be working in long-term care in the future.
