December 4, 2006 California Investigating Antipsychotic Medication Marketing Practices The California Attorney General is investigating marketing practices for antipsychotic medications to determine the effects on the Medi-Cal formulary. According to a November 3, 2006 report by MarketWatch, subpoenas have been issued to pharmaceutical manufacturers Eli Lilly, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Pfizer. All of the manufacturers are responding to the state’s request for information.
