December 18, 2006 Carnegie Mellon & UPMC Sign Five-Year $10 Million Research Agreement Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) signed a five-year, $10 million agreement for sponsored research in health care-related computer science, engineering, robotics and other technologies.
