Last The Wall Street Journal headline that caught my attention was Why Can't We Sell Charity Like We Sell Perfume? The article is a good read and forwards some provocative recommendations (more on that in a minute). But, I think the frame for this article begs the "big question" in the health and human service field – what is the difference between a for-profit organization, a non-profit organization, and a tax-exempt organization?
