One of the key provisions of the health care reform bill, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) , is that employers must provide coverage for employees or pay a tax penalty. This requirement, referred to as the employer mandate, is almost here. But, despite its passage a couple years ago, there seems to be lots of confusion about the provisions of the mandate.
