Nebraska Extends $59 Million Child Welfare Lead Agency Contract With Nebraska Families Collaborative Through 2016
On May 19, 2015, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) announced it had extended its child welfare lead agency contract with Nebraska Families Collaborative (NFC) through June 30, 2016; the one-year contract is valued at $59.9 million. NFC will provide case management and prevention services for more than 2,400 children and families in the Eastern Service Area, which includes Douglas and Sarpy counties.
