U.S. Department Of Justice Sues Four Michigan Hospitals For Agreement Not To Compete
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has issued suit against four Michigan hospital systems for allegedly agreeing not to compete against each other. The DOJ brought the suit against Hillsdale Community Health Center (Hillsdale); Community Health Center of Branch County (Branch); ProMedica Health System, Inc. (ProMedica); and W.A. Foote Memorial Hospital, dba Allegiance Health (Allegiance). Three of the systems – Hillsdale, Branch, and ProMedica – have already agreed to settle the charges.
