UC San Diego Health & AccentCare Launch Joint Venture For Home Health Care Services

On July 14, 2015, the University of California (UC) San Diego Health System announced it had entered a joint venture with AccentCare to create a new post-acute care provider organization to deliver Medicare home health care services. AccentCare is a commercial post-acute care provider organization that provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation, hospice, and care management services, as well as personal, non-medical care. The new organization created by the joint venture is expected to be fully operational next summer.
