Rhode Island To Launch Phase Two Of Care Coordination Model For Dual Eligibles

On July 30, 2015, the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced it had entered a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Rhode Island on a second phase of the duals demonstration program that focuses on providing a more coordinated, person-centered care experience. The first phase enrolled dual eligibles in Medicaid care coordination programs; their Medicare services were not involved in this phase.
