Six Colorado Insurers Team Up With Colorado Medicaid To Standardize Integrated Behavioral Health Care
On June 23, 2015, Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper announced that six health insurers and the state’s Medicaid program were adopting reforms to prepare for broader integration of behavioral and physical health care. The health plan partnerships with Medicaid are taking place in the context of Colorado’s State Innovation Model (SIM) grant that is focused on improving continuity of care by increasing collaboration among payers and behavioral health care provider organizations.
