Massachusetts Medicaid Proposes Rates For Remote Patient Monitoring: $50 For Installation & $10 For Daily Monitoring
Starting November 1, 2015, the Massachusetts Medicaid program, MassHealth, will reimburse home health provider organizations for remote patient monitoring systems and services. The state will pay up to $50 for installation and will pay up to $10 for a daily monitoring rate.
The proposal defines remote patient monitoring as a service that allows home health provider organizations to monitor a consumer health status remotely via a system of devices installed at the consumer’s home.
