Maine Medicaid To Propose New Rates For Behavioral Health Homes
The Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) plans to propose new rates for Medicaid behavioral health home (BHH) provider organizations. Currently, the state pays $365 per member per month for adults, and $322 per member per month for children enrolled in BHHs. The proposal changes the rate to $387.05 per member per month for both child and adult BHH enrollees. DHHS anticipates that the new rates and related new billing requirements will become effective in the first quarter of 2016.
