Netsmart Acquires Trend Consulting Services To Expand Managed IT Services For Provider Organizations

On September 8, 2015, Netsmart announced it had acquired Trend Consulting Services to expand Netsmart’s managed information technology (IT) services solutions for health and human service provider organizations. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed because both companies are privately held. The acquisition brings Netsmart new resources and expertise to offer a range of managed IT services for organizations using any type of electronic health record (EHR), not only those organizations using a Netsmart CareRecord (EHR) or other Netsmart services.
