Ohio Legislature Forms Task Force To Consider Legalizing Medical Marijuana

On January 14, 2016, the Ohio House of Representatives formed a bipartisan Medical Marijuana Task Force to consider legalizing the use of medical marijuana. The formation of the task force was prompted by the “Fresh Start Act,” an initiated statue developed by ResponsibleOhio, which also developed a defeated 2015 ballot measure to legalize marijuana for medical and recreational use.
