Mental Health Consumer Engagement More Likely With Multiple Intervention Strategies

People diagnosed with mental health disorders entered and stayed in treatment longer when consumer engagement utilized multiple intervention strategies. When consumer engagement had a single strategy, treatment retention rates were higher than without the intervention. When an intervention had components that addressed two strategy focus areas, treatment retention rates were even higher. And, the more areas of strategy focus incorporated in consumer engagement, the higher the level of treatment retention.
