Clark County, Nevada Family Court Launches Pilot To Improve Handling Of Child Welfare Cases

In December 2015, the Clark County Family Court in Nevada launched a pilot program to improve the consistency and speed of processing child welfare cases. During the pilot, the same judge will oversee a child’s case from start to finish.

The Clark County Blue Ribbon for Kids Commission recommended the pilot in its final report, “Moving Forward Together for Clark County’s Children: Blue Ribbon for Kids Commission Final Report,” which was released in March 2015.
