Boise Launches Two ‘Housing First’ Projects

On February 9, 2016, the City of Boise and the Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA), members of the Roundtable on Housing and Homelessness, launched a “Housing First” initiative to create up to 40 new units of permanent supportive housing for people experiencing chronic homelessness. The initiative has two projects; one is a scattered site Housing First project, which could provide up to 15 units, as early as the summer of 2016.
