Department Of Justice Launches 10 Regional Task Forces To Weed Out Grossly Substandard Nursing Home Care
On March 30, 2016, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the launch of 10 regional Elder Justice Task Forces to enhance and coordinate federal, state, and local efforts to hold accountable nursing facilities that provide grossly substandard care to their residents. The goal is to more effectively and quickly resolve problems where nursing homes are jeopardizing the health and well-being of their residents. Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Benjamin C.
