On December 17, 2015, Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) announced it was awarded a contract valued at up to $25 million annually from the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADOC) to provide housing and health care for up to an additional 1,000 medium-security inmates at CCA's Red Rock Correctional Center in Arizona.
