Smoky Mountain Center Working With Youth Villages On High-Fidelity Wraparound Pilot Program For Foster Children
On February 17, 2016, Smoky Mountain Center, a regional Medicaid behavioral health managed care organization (MCO) in North Carolina announced that two counties within its catchment area were selected as sites for the state’s System of Care High-Fidelity Wraparound Pilot program with Youth Villages. The four-year pilot program will target children and youths who receive Medicaid, are in therapeutic foster care, and need treatment for mental health, drug or alcohol issues.
