Stanislaus County, California Moves To Privatize Workforce Career Services
Stanislaus County, California is preparing to privatize the county workforce and career centers to bring the county’s services into compliance with the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The county Board of Supervisors approved the shift at its meeting on April 5, 2016, and on April 19 released a request for proposal (RFP) seeking a vendor to provide business services to assist with the transition. Responses to the county’s RFP #16-20-DQ - Stanislaus County Alliance Worknet, Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) Business Services are due by May 26, 2016.
