U.S. Suicide Rate Increased 24% Between 1999 & 2014, Highest Rate In 30 Years

Over the past 15 years, the age-adjusted suicide rate in the United States increased by 24%, from 10.5 deaths per 100,000 population in 1999 to 13.0 deaths per 100,000 in 2014.
