CMS, Rhode Island HHS, & Neighborhood Health Sign Contract To Create New Rhode Island Medicare-Medicaid Health Plan
On April 29, 2016, the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) and the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) signed a three-way contract with Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island (Neighborhood) to create a new Medicare-Medicaid plan for the second phase of state’s Integrated Care Initiative (ICI) demonstration under the Medicare-Medicaid financial alignment initiative.
