Nebraska’s first State Plan For Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias calls for the state to promote and guide informal and unpaid caregivers to free training options and to make sure caregiver support is available. The goal is to ensure that people diagnosed with dementia and their families understand legal and financial issues, as well as health information on how the various types of dementia progress.
