Kindred Completes Acquisition Of State Af Arkansas’ Home Health Operations

On August 1, 2016, Kindred Healthcare, Inc. completed the acquisition of the home health care operations previously operated by the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH). Kindred acquired ADH licenses to provide home health, hospice, and personal care services throughout the state of Arkansas for approximately $39 million.

Kindred acquired home health and personal care licenses for 69 counties and hospice licenses for 42 counties.
