Massachusetts Chronic Homelessness Pay-For-Success Initiative Reports Housing 250 In First Year

On August 3, 2016, the Massachusetts Alliance for Supportive Housing (MASH) announced that its pay-for-success (PFS) initiative to reduce chronic homelessness housed more than 250 people in stable, supportive housing during the first contract year. Under the PFS contract, the state set a minimum first year goal of housing 200 people. Of the 250 people housed, 200 are receiving supportive services through the MassHealth Medicaid Pay for Success Community Support Program for People Experiencing Chronic Homelessness program
