For the 2016 plan year, the median out-of-pocket deductible is $850 for Healthcare.gov marketplace policies. In 2015, the median plan deductible was $900. For both years, the median deductible represents the median net out-of-pocket cost to consumers after accounting for federal financial assistance.

Deductibles for consumers who did not qualify for federal financial assistance ranged from $6,300 for a Bronze plan, to $3,000 for a Silver plan, $1,000 for a Gold plan, and $0 for a Platinum plan.
