95% Of Hospitals Allow Consumers Access To Health Records In 2015, Up From 24% In 2012

In 2015, about 95% of hospitals allowed consumers to view their health information electronically, up from 24% of hospitals in 2012. However, the size and type of hospital matters because large hospitals are  more likely than smaller hospitals and Critical Access Hospitals to provide consumers with the ability to electronically view, download, and transmit their health information.
