Six Michigan Safety Net Provider Organizations Receive Blue Cross Grants Fund Integrated Care

On September 19, 2016, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) announced that six safety net health care provider organizations in Michigan will share $535,000 in grant funding to incorporate behavioral health and addiction treatment into their physical health services for low-income or uninsured consumers. The funding is from a coalition that includes BCBSM, the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation, the Ethel and James Flinn Foundation, and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
