60% Of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield New Jersey Medical Spending Via Patient-Centered Arrangements
On September 6, 2016, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (Horizon BCBSNJ) announced that 60% of its medical spending in the state was with its patient-centered network physicians and hospitals. During 2015, Horizon BCBSNJ paid its patient-centered network physicians and hospitals $58.9 million in care coordination and shared savings payments for reaching quality and savings goals.
