Virginia Juvenile Justice Contracts With AMIkids & Evidence-Based Associates To Develop Community-Based Services

On October 20, 2016, the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) awarded contracts to AMIkids, Inc. (AMI) and Evidence-Based Associates, Inc. (EBA) to develop a statewide continuum of evidence-based treatment services. The state is transforming its juvenile justice system. The two contractors will also develop alternatives to placement in state operated juvenile correctional centers. Service delivery will begin in 2017.
