In Alabama, 3 Of 11 RCOs Withdraw

As of early November 2016, three of Alabama Medicaid’s Probationary Regional Care Organizations (PRCOs) have withdrawn from the program, citing concerns about long-term funding for the program. The PRCOs are part of Alabama’s shift to implement Medicaid managed care. About 800,000 of the state’s 930,000 Medicaid beneficiaries will be enrolled in an RCO.
