UnitedHealthcare Launches National NexusACO For Self-Funded Employers

UnitedHealthcare recently launched sales of a new health benefits option, called NexusACO, for self-funded employers with 100 or more employees. NexusACO, which will go live on January 1, enables national employers to offer a single value-based plan design nationwide, giving plan members access to in-network Tier 1 care participating provider organizations.

The 15 markets participating in NexusACO include Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona; Los Angeles, Orange County and San Francisco Bay Area, California; Denver, Colorado; Chicago, Illinois; Northern New Jersey; Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio; Rhode Island (statewide); Austin, Houston and San Antonio, Texas; and Richmond, Virginia.
