New Hampshire Medicaid To Implement Managed Long-Term Services & Supports
The New Hampshire Medicaid program is preparing to add long-term services and supports (LTSS) to its Medicaid managed care program, a move dubbed the Medicaid Care Management program. Currently, LTSS is excluded from the Medicaid Care Management program established in 2012; however, the long-term plan was to include LTSS. Legislation enacted in 2016, Senate Bill (SB) 553 authorizes the Medicaid program to prepare to add LTSS when the state rebids its Medicaid Managed Care program contracts to continue the program after June 30, 2018.
